Green eating: Engrained offers new vegetarian options

Meatless-lovers rejoice! Some of our recent weekly specials from January are joining the regular menu at Engrained.

In January we debuted several tasty vegetarian options on a rotating basis. Because customer input is so important to us, we asked for feedback as we concocted new dishes and decided which ones to continue offering.

Popularity is not our only measure for success, however.

As our culinary team creates each one of our dishes, we consider a variety of factors - most important, sourcing!

At Engrained, we work with our farmers to plan menu items seasonally, based on what is available. Making sure our produce is locally sourced and organic is one of our top priorities.

Pull up a seat and check out our delicious new vegetarian items:

So, why vegetarian?

While we believe that sustainably, naturally raised beef and pork can certainly be healthy to eat, we also understand that many people have health and conscience concerns about eating meat.

We also recognize there is a growing unease about the environmental impact that livestock has on the planet.

Increasing our vegetarian offerings at Engrained is just one more way for us to meet our community’s needs with healthy and nutritious culinary choices. Come in and give one – or all – of them a try!
