Engrained Starts Organic Farm
When we opened our doors in August 2013, we had a vision to bring local, sustainably grown produce and meat to our guests, in a way that was accessible and affordable for everyone. We've been keeping up with that goal and trying to expand our positive impact on the environment and the health of our community ever since.

In 2017 we had an opportunity to acquire a 23 acre plot of land, and have been working since then to rehabilitate the soil and plan for the future. Our goal is to practice regenerative farming, which is a level beyond even organic. More than an attempt to avoid damaging the soil, the intention of regenerative agriculture is to improve the earth as its farmed, using techniques that increase soil nutrients and allow the growth of food while maintaining nature's delicate balance.
This season so far, we have planted radishes, peppers, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and cauliflower, with plans to get a few more crops in during the next few weeks, weather permitting! We are very excited for this new direction for Engrained, and can't wait to offer the freshest organic produce possible on our menu.
